Making Throckmorton Park a carbon neutral town
In planning Throckmorton Park we have taken a holistic approach to achieve a UK first in carbon neutrality. Through the use of low carbon energy and heat sources, the latest energy efficient building methods and sustainable transport options, our ambition is to make Throckmorton Park a carbon neutral town.
A calm, connected location
The Throckmorton Park site is surrounded by beautiful open countryside.
The A44 to the south of the site connects the site to Worcester in the west and Evesham in the east. The nearby Pershore rail station offers direct links to London Paddington via Oxford, Didcot and Reading.
Breathing new life into a historic site
Throckmorton Park will be centred on the disused Throckmorton Airfield, formerly known as RAF Pershore, which closed for flying in 1978. This is a unique opportunity to focus development away from the open countryside and focus housing growth on previously developed land.
Our ambitions for Throckmorton Park celebrate this heritage and build from it. Today, the site is occupied by several businesses operating out of the old aircraft hangers and utilising large-scale open storage opportunities on the tarmac.
